Tonga national rugby union team

The Tonga national rugby union team is nicknamed ʻIkale Tahi (Sea Eagles). Like their Polynesian neighbours, the Tongans start their matches with a war dance - the Kailao (aka the Sipi Tau). They are members of the Pacific Islands Rugby Alliance (PIRA) along with Fiji and Samoa. Sipi Tau Like a lot of the big Pacific rugby nations, Tonga has a pre-match ritual. The Sipi Tau is a form of the Kailao. Tonga perform the kailao/Sipi Tau prior to the commencement of a match. The kailao was originally a war dance that was imported to Tonga from Wallis Island. It is usually performed at both public and private ceremonies. One of the most memorable performances in modern times of the Sipi Tau was during the 2003 Rugby World Cup in Australia, in Tonga's match against the All Blacks. The All Blacks began their traditional haka, and then Tonga answered to the haka through the sipi tau whilst the All Blacks were performing it, bringing the teams within metres of one another just prior to kick-off.[1]

On Tuesday the 23rd of August a news reporter named Kim came to our class to film us for TV 1 News. She came to see us using our Netbooks that we use for our learning. We had to try to stay focused on our work but I couldn't stop looking at the camera while Kim was talking to the camera. I was really nervous because it was the first time that I have been on the news on T.V ONE.

something brushed up against and my foot and my surprise turned to horror as I looked down and saw a rat and a snake. Once there was a snake that was the best on hide and Sneak . until a rat game an said,’’you are not the best on hide and sneak’’.he said. so the rat went and the snake and said,’’would you like if I SNAP you’’. then the rat turn back and just walked away . then the rat made a add that went ,’’Bom and the snake is gone’’. then the snake was looking for the rat and said’’ I am going to SNAP YOU . So you better run away. but the rat said.,’’that if ‘’you can catch me. then the rat turn back and the snake was all ready there. an till the snake found out it was his best friend . and the rat name was Studamyer .

The Problem was,’’ who is the snake is name’’. said the rat . so the rat was to scared that the snake mite bite him so the rat went to the snake and said ,’’what is your name said the rat’’. so the snake wounder what was his name...and the rat made up a name for the snake ,’’your name is James’’ . the snake said thanks for the name’’ .
